Hey everyone and welcome to my blog about college life! I my opening post I’ll be talking about what it takes to get the most out of your studies and the general experience.
Making friends sounds like it may be a daunting task, but don’t worry! It’s actually like that for most people, so you are actually in the same boat as a lot of other. Some things that might make it easier:
Remember that almost everyone (some people are plain jerks) around you is looking to meet new people so they will generally be nice.
Join a club! Surprisingly, it is so easy to meet new people and make friends when you are actually out of your dorm room and around new people.
Don’t be afraid to use social media for college networking. Make it easy on yourself and use what’s familiar to you!
Lastly, just keep in mind that you’re there to learn and use your time to your advantage! There are many websites out there that can be used to assist your every day needs. Get off of reddit and facebook!!
